In this video I'll show you how you can create those soft, but snappy ro-minimal Kick sounds like Sepp, Petre Inspirescu, Barac and so on uses.

The good news is: If you use Ableton Suite 10, you have all the tools needed! If you don't have Ableton, you basically just need a Drum Synth or a normal Synth with a Sine wave.

In this video tough, I focusing on creating those kicks inside Ableton Live 10 Suite.

This is a quick video because honestly, creating bass sounds is not a big thing to do as you'll see in this video.

I got inspired by the latest sample pack from Silat Beksi from SampleMarket and I found one little key ingredient that can make a bass patch sound more interesting and more "groovy" & "airy" sounding.

This function is called "Key tracking" and if you don't know about it or haven't used it yet, go and check this quick video out.

I love Artist sample packs, but only because I can better analyse the sounds in it and some kind of reverse engineer and adapt them to my own production.

I got inspired by the latest Sample Pack from Silat Beksi’s Artist Series from Samplemarket.co.uk

In this Video I share 2 Pad sounds that I created and what key ingredients needs to be used to create pad sounds.

Guess what? It's not a whole lot!

What I also learned is:

We don't need a crazy synth plugin to do so to imitate & emulate our heroes sounds.

I was somehow able to create pad sounds with just a very very basic synth plugin

So if you want to learn how to create pad sounds or use the knowledge to tweak presets sounds, this video is for you.
